Application Architect

Lime Labs India Pvt. Ltd (Noida) seeks an exceptional Application Architect. The Application Architect will be responsible for defining the entire architecture. Candidate must be able to lead the entire technology architecture for an evolving web product, write technical architecture and design documents, and manage the development and deployment. In this position, you will work closely with teammates on high-traffic, customer-facing applications. This is a senior position, reporting to a Program Manager in India.

Responsibilities

Advanced architecture, solution, and/or platform-specific technical best practices
Design for security, reliability, scalability and extensibility
Define/identify & implement best standards and practices

Required experience and skills:

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT/REC, MS from US university would be a plus
Good knowledge of OOAD, GoF patterns, J2ee patterns, database designing, normalization, ORM and SDLC
Understanding of distributed system architectures is a must (e.g. Web services, Message oriented systems, RMI/RPC, REST/SOAP, CORBA, etc.)
Thorough understanding of protocols e.g. HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP etc. Ability to design layered protocols for a P2P communication. Experience with JxTA, torrent a definite plus
Hands on experience with Linux, understanding of OS concepts, scheduling algorithms, inter process communication, shared memory, threads, non-blocking I/O etc.
Understanding of scaling techniques e.g. sharding , algorithms e.g. Map reduce , servlet engines e.g. tomcat, AJAX frameworks, comet etc.
Experience with Juggernaut, Solr, Lucene, MVC architectures, Apache would be a plus

Online Marketing Manager

Position Overview:
The on-line marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing the company’s marketing campaigns and collateral

Responsibilities:

Direct the creation of sales and marketing collateral such as newsletters, e-mails, banner ads, website content and print advertisements
Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust message and/or placements as needed
Work with product management and the sales team to develop cost effective promotions that produce results
Direct the development and promotion of public relations materials such as press releases, articles, blog posts, and twitter feeds
Manage and track all marketing expenditures and ensure the department is meeting its quarterly budget targets
Work with publishers to identify potential effective advertising placements and negotiate favorable terms
Work with partners and affiliates to implement joint marketing campaigns, ensuring that the needs and requirements of both parties are met
Coordinate company participation in events such as trade shows and sponsored / hosted gatherings
All additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
You must have:

Five years of on-line marketing experience in a web services related industry
Experience creating, managing, and tracking on-line marketing campaigns, including banner ads, search engine marketing, and social networking
In depth search engine marketing campaign management experience (Adwords, Yahoo, etc..) a plus
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
